The Artist – Reinette Henkes

Born and raised in South Africa, I was surrounded by bright colours and intricate patterns which only served to cultivate my creative side. In 2001, I moved to the UK and used that enthusiasm for individuality into creating a home for my family.

As a selftaught artist, I fell in love with resin and its glossy, mirror effect quality. I made some bespoke pieces for friends and family, inspired by the world around me. Living in Hampshire, I am surrounded by the water and countryside and have recently used these spaces to create themes within my work.

As you browse through my website you will notice the individuality of each piece which has been made with love and care and finished to the highest quality. The freedom and fluidity from the resin means that duplication of a product is doubtful, leaving you with a unique piece of art.

My current collection of homewares includes serving platters, coasters, trays and serving spoons which are functional pieces of art that will bring luxury and style to your home.
